Ethiopia’s landscape is as varied as it is vast. From the towering Afroalpine plateaus of the Bale Mountains in the east, to the frazzled landscape of the Danakil Depression – the lowest point on the African continent – in the north, Ethiopia offers nature lovers a treasure chest of biodiversity and spectacular scenery.

Most destinations provide the opportunity for excellent hikes, varying in length and suitable for various fitness levels. Structured trekking routes, on the other hand, can be found in the Bale Mountain National Park and the Simien Mountain National Park. Trekking itineraries are available on request, and can include camping equipment if required. All expeditions within national parks require that you are escorted by an experienced scout.

Wildlife and birding itineraries are available on request.
